The Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF) is the country’s largest media provider, operating four national television, 3 national and nine regional radio channels, as well as a comprehensive range of online platforms. ORF is a foundation under public law.

Tom Matzek, born 1964 in Vienna, is a journalist and documentary filmmaker. He has been working for ORF for 30 years, his record includes all fields of TV factual programmes, such as magazines, reportage series and documentaries. He authored and directed more than a dozen films on Austrian contemporary history. His current post is Head of Specialist Factual.
